- For a more thorough removal of the dust on the shades, then a hand-held vacuum with low suction is recommended. When you are vacuuming, you must avoid pulling or stretching the sheer fabric. It is recommended to start in the upper left corner and work across the fabric using short horizontal strokes while steadying the fabric with your free hand. Each stroke is about the width of two to three vanes. Do not use long horizontal or vertical strokes when cleaning, since these actions may crease the fabric. Continue to the bottom of the fabric until completion.
